Job Description
Flywire is looking for an experienced, motivated, and hardworking Relationship Manager (RM) to help with the delivery and execution of our solution to partner institutions. This individual will work to continuously improve and expand our client relationships in an effort to retain and maximize the value of these partnerships.
The Opportunity:
The Relationship Manager will partner with Territory Sales Managers (SM) in the execution of strategies and tactics to further develop and support relationships with our existing clients. This includes working with our clients to increase payer utilization, upsell new products, maintain client retention, manage contract renewal and provide accurate and timely issue resolution.
The RM responsibilities also include maintaining effective and strategic communications with client administrators across multiple offices on campus. Flywire’s RM will manage implementation of products and must demonstrate a thorough understanding of all services provided by the company while developing and maintaining a strong relationship at a strategic and operational level with the assigned portfolio.
Additional duties of a RM include:
Working in collaboration with various internal departments to identify needed improvements, recommend solutions, and escalate items to Director/VP as appropriate
Maintain effective and engaging communications at all levels, across multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
Support the rollout and execution of product, client, and partner projects
Provide support for implementations, reports, updates, training, annual reviews and support the needs of multiple offices to assure product usage and satisfaction.
Strategically align and join efforts with Relationship Associate(s) to effectively manage the territory clients for successful outcomes while help mentoring to excel their career and develop their knowledge of our products and clients
Mentor new members of the Relationship team as you excel in your career and experience at Flywire
Foster client loyalty to Flywire by serving as a trusted advisor to school administrators. This includes being an expert and thought leader in EDU payment solutions and FinTech.
Solve meaningful problems in a genuine way with integrity and develop lifelong advocates along the career journey.
Qualifications
Here's What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing
3+ years of experience in inside sales or managing client/customer relationships
Experience in sales/account management in Higher Education industry is required
Must live on the West Coast (PST time zone)
Willingness to travel roughly 25%
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient presentation skills: ability to address all levels including senior executives
Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and planning skills
Problem solving and project management skills
The ability to work alone as well as part of a team
Salesforce experience is a plus
