Transmit Security is looking for a Director, Deal Desk to build a global Deal Desk team that can support our rapidly growing global sales organization. The Deal Desk Director will work closely with the Sales Operations Leader to develop and implement processes and systems to support our Sales organization. As a Deal Desk Manager at Transmit Security, you’ll be at the forefront of the company’s growth efforts working in close partnership with our Sales organization in the construct, review, approval and negotiation of business opportunities. In addition to this, you will also act as the coordinator between the Sales team and all other corporate functions as business opportunities are evaluated, negotiated and closed. Finally, you’ll develop relationships at all levels and across the entire company in support of your deal function.

This role requires passion for operational excellence, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to build a global team capable of delivering fast and reliable results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Director, Deal Desk reports to the Sales Operations Leader and works closely with key stakeholders within all supporting business units. 

This person can be remote from anywhere in the US. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with the Sales organization and become a trusted advisor for the deal construct and negotiation process.
  • Coordinate the flow of information across multiple groups, such as Sales, Professional Services, Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations to facilitate the deal process.
  • Ensure that the execution of the deal review and approval process follows company policies and guidelines.
  • Partner with other company functions, to set policies, process and procedures and assist or drive their implementation.
  • Create and develop the internal relationships with groups across the company to help facilitate the deal process.
  • Manage Transmit Security’s Configure, Price and Quote processes and implement solutions to support the processes and policies
  • Line manage, coach, and train the Sales Operations Deal Desk team members and provide guidance to support career development and growth


Requirements:

  • BA/BS required; minimum of 7 years experience of Deal Desk experience, preferably in the technology and/or marketing space
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in the analysis, design, and implementation of Del Desk management and administration
  • Strong project management, planning, and organization skills
  • Team player that understands success rests on helping others to be successful
  • Strong individual contributor, continuously seeking to learn and develop
  • Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management team
  • At least 7 years of experience in supporting sales organizations, processes, and strategy
  • Expertise in salesforce.com from the technical, administration and management aspects
  • Knowledge in related sales and marketing tools is a strong advantage
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success
  • Experience in working at a multinational companies - an advantage
  • Executive communicator; comfortable and experienced at multiple levels
  • People management experience (desirable)
