This starts with the work that our Solutions Strategists tackle during both the sales and Discovery process, where they dive deep into the intricacies of our clients’ businesses and help craft an eCommerce strategy centered around their growth.

We’re looking for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, are creative problem solvers, can speak from a place of deep expertise, are detail-oriented, and enjoy using data to inform their decision-making.

 

Core Responsibilities

Below are some of the core responsibilities our Solutions Strategists have:

  • Communicating with sales prospects and clients to determine their exact requirements for eCommerce or CMS projects
  • Mapping out those requirements to a platform and providing estimates for the completion of a project
  • Guiding project teams on the requirements and how to execute the projects
  • eCommerce platform expertise including Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, and/or other relevant eCommerce platforms
  • Working with sales to qualify and estimate solutions for sales leads
  • Providing strategy and guidance to clients as to how to best utilize their budget

 

Relevant Experience 

Below are some of the relevant experiences that would make someone a good fit for this role:

  • Background in the eCommerce industry, specifically with Magento, Shopify, and BigCommerce being a plus
  • Experience working in an agency or client services environment, managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • History using JIRA or similar project management toolset
  • Interest in following and developing standardized processes
  • Comfort with tracking and measuring performance using quantitative goals
  • Experience in business strategy and guiding businesses on new strategies related to digital initiatives

 

Certifications

Success as a Solutions Strategist at Trellis requires a mastery of e-commerce. As such, we’re looking for candidates that either already possesses or could obtain the following certifications within the first three months of their time at Trellis:

  • Adobe Certified Expert - Magento Commerce Business Practitioner
  • Shopify Business Fundamentals Certification
  • Shopify Product Fundamentals Certification
  • BigCommerce B2B Sales Certification

Given the importance we place on this, we cover all costs related to training and the certification as well as offer a bonus upon obtaining the certification.
