About the role
The Deal Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing support for the entire sales staff by reviewing and processing deals. The analyst will be expected to work cross-functionally with other teams and provide assistance across the sales staff. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter that is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities and tasks.
The Deal Desk Analyst will be joining the Sales Operations Team within the Business Operations and Finance organization. The Sales Ops team is relied on by the entire organization for global reporting around historical sales performance, pipeline, and planning. Our overall objective as part of the Business and Finance Operations organization is to drive pipeline generation, accelerate deal velocity, and enable our sales team to continue providing value to our customers in the most efficient way possible.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Deal desk support for global sales organization and specific requests. Help with quote to cash support, quote approvals and generation, customized order structuring.
- Monitors the Sales Support Slack channel to provide general assistance and advice on common deal questions and Quote to Cash process questions.
- Monitors the deal-desk alias and queue in Salesforce, consistently maintaining case SLAs.
- Review and process all incoming Salesforce Quotes and Contracts orders accurately, including but not limited to confirming contact and billing information, discounting, non-standard terms, and custom billing.
- Assist with non-standard deal requests, structuring complex deals, driving cross-functional and cross solution collaboration.
- Partner with various Business Operations teams (Legal, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Partners) to further support the Quote-to-Cash process.
- Identify and drive implementation of new tools and process improvements to support growth.
- Complete ad hoc Revenue Operations projects and analysis as required.
About You:
- 2-3+ years of Deal Desk, Revenue, Billing, Order Management experience (ideally in a SaaS environment), preferably with Sales contract experience
- Demonstrated ability to partner with GTM Teams and other cross-functional departments
- Demonstrated familiarity with the Enterprise SaaS/B2B Industry - Deal Desk, Order Management, Finance Operations, Sales Operations, or Pricing experience preferred
- Experience with Quote to Cash software (SFDC CPQ/Dealhub) and Salesforce preferred
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition rules
- Highly organized and adaptable to evolving priorities, assignments, and responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance or equivalent experience
