Account Executive, Siftrock
Drift recently acquired Siftrock, a Seattle-based company focused on email reply management in the marketing automation space. Siftrock will continue to sell its standalone service, but the technology will also be used to power Drift Assistant for sales reps and marketers. We are looking for an experienced Account Executive with an entrepreneurial mindset to sell the Siftrock product on the behalf of Drift. We plan to 3x the Siftrock business unit in 2019 so this specialized team will have a huge opportunity to make an impact right away.
As an Siftrock Conversational Sales Advisor, you will identify, source and close ideal customer prospects in the Mid-Market, SME, and Enterprise space. Using strong conversational selling skills, you will hunt self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while also partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve team goals.

What you’ll be doing on the Sales team at Siftrock:
- Strategically prospect into new business opportunities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects/clients
- Opportunity to run the full sales cycle and drive complex deals from initial contact, all the way through to close within a fast paced sales environment
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers and work with management to provide an accurate sales forecast
- Sell to key decision makers (sales and marketing)
- Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
About you and what type of skills you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
- Minimum of 4 years of sales experience within a fast paced and transactional environment
- Must have 2+ years experience working complex deals from inception, navigating legal & procurement to close
- Elite sales professional - top performer in current role
- Hunter mentality
- Strong sales fundamentals, business & sales acumen
- Must be able to prepare and present software demos with prospects and guide them through the buying process
- Technologically savvy and the ability to learn
- The ability to work individually and collaborate within a team environment to achieve set goals
- Leverage sales management tools to track and measure activity
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
