The Role

As the Sales Training Manager you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving our Go-To-Market (GTM) training programs to ensure our teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive growth and achieve targets. You will collaborate closely with the VP, Sales to create a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with our business goals. 

Responsibilities

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive sales training programs, including onboarding, product knowledge, sales techniques, and ongoing development initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and effective training materials, such as presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and workshops tailored to various learning styles.
  • Delivery of Training: Facilitate training sessions virtually and sometimes in-person, ensuring an interactive and impactful learning experience for all participants.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Develop assessment tools to evaluate training effectiveness and gather feedback from participants to refine and improve training programs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales leadership to identify training needs and priorities, and collaborate with product teams to ensure training materials reflect the latest product updates.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance data to identify skill gaps and training needs, and adjust training programs accordingly to address these gaps.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor and coach sales team members to enhance their skills and performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development (L&D), Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Sales Training Manager or similar role within the SaaS or fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging training content.
  • Proficiency in using e-learning tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and sales performance.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Adaptability and creativity in developing training solutions.
