Sales Operations Specialist, Contracts

About the Job  

The Qt Company is looking for a Sales Operations Specialist, Contracts to join our Sales Support team. 

As a Sales Operations Specialist, Contracts, your primary focus will be to streamline and support the contracting process for our frontline sales teams at Qt. You'll serve as the go-to expert, guiding them through complex license agreements, ensuring adherence to policy, and collaborating with legal, product, and more to continuously improve our processes and platforms. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your legal understanding, sales acumen, and technical skills to drive efficiency and success in a global, dynamic environment.

This position is opened for Berlin, Paris or Espoo offices. 

You will:

• Act as the primary point of contact for contracting process support for frontline sales teams 
• Guide the teams in adhering to Qt contracting policies and best practices when negotiating license agreements with customers 
• Work closely with legal, product, and other relevant teams to continuously develop Qt sales contracting process, and ensure that demanding contract negotiations receive the needed legal support at the right time 
• Take ownership and accountability for the daily upkeep of the CLM platform and related tasks and collaborate with the relevant IT teams to further develop the platform when needed 
• Perform contract reviews to monitor and ensure compliance with Qt contracting policies 
• Deliver periodic training on contracting process and tools to the frontline sales teams 

About you: 

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience from  e.g. sales operations, legal, or contract administration roles 
• Solid business acumen and understanding of B2B sales processes 
• Ability to quickly learn business processes and systems, and alternate between the big picture and process details 
• Solid understanding of business-to-business contract law through legal studies or previous experience from similar roles 
• Ability to draft legal texts and modify existing legal language in basic contracting scenarios 
• Hands-on experience from the Salesforce platform 
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in English and 1-2 local languages 
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions in a multi-cultural environment  
• Master's degree from a relevant field, e.g. business, law, or technology 
• Assertiveness and negotiation skills
