DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Sales Representative II, where you'll support revenue growth and contribute to serving science. You'll develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers while promoting our comprehensive portfolio of innovative products and services. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and provide excellent support to help customers achieve their goals. This role offers the chance to represent a leader in scientific solutions while contributing to our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

LOCATION:

US - Boston, MA

This role will be remote based and will require on-site sales support for academic and biotech customers in the Boston area. Travel 50%-75% of the time, in-person customer facing meetings up to 75% of the time.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in scientific/laboratory industry, or equivalent experience
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related scientific field
• Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated ability to learn complex product applications and workflows
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong territory management and strategic account planning capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for developing effective sales strategies
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% within assigned territory

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $52,600.00–$73,600.00. The OTE range estimated for this position is $80,900-$124,384.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $52,600.00–$73,600.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
