About This Role:

A leading global research and advisory firm, Forrester serves professionals in 13 key roles across three distinct client segments. This collaborative role sits at the intersection of people, process, and applications. Join the global sales operations team at Forrester and work closely with global sales leaders to drive key insights about their businesses to improve overall sales performance and productivity. The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for reporting on sales and business metrics, and analyzing those metrics to provide actionable recommendations to sales leaders about their regions and teams.

Job Description:

  • Create and distribute monthly and quarterly reports on key metrics, including bookings performance, retention rates, discounting, and engagement.
  • Improve reporting efficiency and accuracy through automation and optimization of reporting processes and data sources.
  • Pull data from multiple data sources, including Salesforce.com, our data warehouse, and Excel spreadsheets to aggregate into reports and business insights.
  • Analyze reports and data to help sales leaders understand the drivers of their business.
  • Provide analytical support for sales leaders on an ad hoc basis.
  • Enable the deployment of territories and quotas tailored to the regions.
  • Collaborate with peers in finance, operations, and other parts of the business to streamline analytical functions and outputs.
  • Manage special projects, as needed, by the business to help drive sales performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two to five years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in financial, business, or sales analysis.
  • Fluency with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience working in Anaplan (preferred).
  • Strong client service orientation, including the ability to identify and deliver analyses to support the needs of our internal clients.
  • The ability to organize large amounts of data and communicate actionable insights to all levels in the business.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including integration of data from multiple sources and analysis of large datasets.
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau (preferred).
  • Highly detail-oriented and analytical.
  • Strong communication skills.
