Sales Executive (Medical)
Billtrust is seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Executive to drive net new business acquisition within our Medical vertical. This is a true hunter role focused on complex, multi-threaded sales across mid-market and enterprise organizations. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle—from account targeting and qualification through to close—delivering high-ACV, multi-product SaaS deals that enable digital transformation across revenue operations.
This is a critical opportunity to join a high-growth vertical and leverage a MEDDPICC-based sales methodology to expand Billtrust’s footprint and drive measurable value for clients navigating automation and innovation in the medical finance ecosystem.
What You’ll DoOwn the full enterprise sales cycle, including discovery, qualification, solution design, financial justification, and contract negotiation—executing rigorously against the MEDDPICC framework.
Identify and engage key decision-makers and influencers across Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, IT, and Operations.
Drive multi-threaded deal strategies—mapping power structures, uncovering decision criteria, and developing champions to guide consensus.
Build tailored, value-based proposals in collaboration with Solution Consultants, Sales Engineers, and Product teams that align to customer KPIs and strategic goals.
Deliver compelling product demos and presentations that highlight strategic, operational, and financial value across stakeholder groups.
Ensure sales hygiene and forecast accuracy through disciplined pipeline management and CRM best practices.
Act as a voice of the market, providing structured feedback to cross-functional teams on buyer needs, competitor insights, and vertical trends.
5+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience in complex, high-ACV environments, with a consistent record of quota attainment or overperformance.
Proficiency in MEDDPICC methodology (or similar enterprise frameworks like Challenger, Command of the Message, or Value Selling).
Experience selling into Finance, IT, or RCM functions—with bonus points for experience in Healthcare or Medical verticals.
Demonstrated ability to close $150K+ ARR deals, often involving multiple products, stakeholders, and 6–12+ month sales cycles.
Knowledge of the order-to-cash, payments, ERP, or FinTech landscape is a strong plus.
Polished executive presence and exceptional communication skills—both remote and in-person.
Analytical, curious, and highly coachable—with a passion for learning and improving through feedback and collaboration.
Proficient in Salesforce.com, Gong, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other modern sales tech.
The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
