ROLE SUMMARY

The role of the Sales Engineer is to increase sales success and revenue generation by leveraging all of Nulogy’s resources and assets to generate and prove a unique and compelling value proposition. The SE will help to ensure Nulogy presents a solution that aligns a prospective customer’s associated pains/challenges with Nulogy’s solutions and delivers value.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works deals assigned to the sales team, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the manager.
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
  • Identify technical, operational or cultural red flags at a prospective client that may impact the adoption of the proposed solution
  • Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
  • Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers business requirements.
  • Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deals technical close.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported.
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered
  • Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years as a Sales Engineer
  • Domain Knowledge
    • Nulogy Product Knowledge
    • Industry Knowledge - Thoroughly understands the big picture environment that our prospects operate in, their value proposition to their customers and the changes in the marketplace
    • Manufacturing / Contract Packaging specific operational knowledge - thoroughly understands the detailed contract packaging workflow, functions, competencies and contingencies.
  • Communication
    • Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate solutions
    • Strong presentation skills 
  • A Passion for Solutions
    • Thrives on distilling issues and business problems to align with Nulogy’s capabilities as a solution 
    • Leverages domain and sales knowledge to identify red and yellow flags to craft feasible and sellable workarounds that deliver the desired outcome for the customer.

    • Highly sensitive and responsive to customer issues, pains and constraints
    • Leverages experience to anticipate issues and concerns of prospects
