Sales Enablement Senior Associate- epocrates

We are looking for a Sales Enablement Manager to join the Marketing team within our epocrates division. In this role, the Sales Enablement Manager will equip the epocrates’ commercial teams to sell confidently across complex buyer environments. This individual will drive continuous improvement of enablement programs to keep pace with evolving advertiser, agency, and market needs. The Sales Enablement Manager will work to bridge strategy and execution by translating Product Marketing narratives into field-ready sales tools and training. This individual will own how epocrates’ product and commercial story is executed in-market while focusing on readiness, customization, and continuous improvement of the sales motion.

More than 1 million healthcare providers rely on epocrates and there are significant investments being made in product technology and innovation, and this year is a fantastic opportunity for marketing to re-energize the brand for customers, users and prospects. Job Responsibilities

  • Customize Product Marketing-approved positioning for specific B2B buyer types, verticals, and agency audiences.

  • Build enablement materials for advertisers and agencies that demonstrate how epocrates’ audience relevance, timing, and context drive better outcomes than traditional, reach-based approaches.

  • Develop and maintain core sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, case studies, objection-handling tools, and messaging guides.

  • Design and deliver sales training programs that enable sellers to lead with the epocrates audience and clearly articulate the value of audience—first healthcare media.

  • Implement and manage a sales certification program to ensure consistent, audience-led selling of epocrates’ digital media solutions across the organization.

  • Capture frontline deal feedback and translate insights into actionable recommendations for Product Marketing and Commercial Leadership.

  • Maintain enablement systems and content libraries, ensuring sales teams have easy access to accurate, current messaging, training, and supporting materials.

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or commercial marketing.

  • Experience supporting B2B sales teams in complex or consultative sales environments.

  • Strong ability to translate strategy into practical sales tools.

  • Comfort working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product partners.

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

  • Experience supporting healthcare, pharma, media, or ad tech sales teams.

  • Familiarity with RFP processes and enterprise sales cycles.

  • Experience with sales enablement platforms and CRM tools.

  • Background in sales, account management, or client success.


Expected Compensation

$82,000 - $140,000

The base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum. At athenahealth, base pay depends on multiple factors, including job-related experience, relevant knowledge and skills, how your qualifications compare to others in similar roles, and geographical market rates.  Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package - depending on role eligibility, we offer both short and long-term incentives by way of an annual discretionary bonus plan, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.
