TEAM
As one of the first points of contact for manufacturers looking to work smarter and faster, our SDR team generates curiosity through thoughtful content and conversations that educate, inform, and excite. You will be an essential part of our pipeline-generating team, working with resources across the entire company to achieve success. Tight-knit and diverse, our SDRs have a culture of prospecting and learning. They work closely together, collaborating on ideas and sharing engagement tactics, while pushing each other to be the best.

ROLE
Propel’s Sales Development team is looking for energetic team players to join us. 
 
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Propel, you will be the first point of contact for the vast majority of our target market.  This is an exciting chance to generate a meaningful pipeline that directly impacts our organizational growth. Helping to identify and engage prospects through outbound prospecting, social selling, networking, events and other activities will help expand our brand and become your passion.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in technology sales and marketing. In this position, you will engage target prospects, identify key persona’s in high value accounts, and lay the foundation for a strong, long lasting relationship. You’ll conduct high volume prospecting and setup discovery calls for Mid-Market and Enterprise Account Executives. You’ll also collaborate with key executives within Sales & Marketing. When life goes back to normal, you can look forward to representing the Propel brand at industry events.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is onsite at our Redwood City Headquarters 4 days a week (M-TH). We are not taking remote applicants at this time.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Raise awareness and generate interest in Propel product through cold calling, emailing and social outreach via LinkedIn
  • Schedule sales appointments for Account Executives
  • Meet and exceed daily activity guidelines (roughly 70 calls and 30 emails daily)
  • Conduct research of target accounts and contacts, tailoring the messaging with a specific point of view
  • Be an expert at starting interactions across all mediums: phone, email, LinkedIn and even physical mail
  • Be the first human point of contact for all marketing-generated leads, following up in a timely manner and driving qualified sales appointments for Account Executives
  • Become strongly knowledgeable in  Propel product and manufacturing industry
  • Regularly interact with Marketing, Account Executives, Operations and other cross-functional groups to ensure we are maximizing our effectiveness out to the market
  • Showcase outstanding professionalism representing Propel

  • Natural curiosity, creativity, and competitiveness 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Not Required, but a plus:
  • Experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft, Sales Navigator & other sales tools
  • Professional SaaS experience or knowledge
