About the Role:

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to join our dynamic sales team. This internship is designed for individuals who want to kickstart their career in sales and learn about the fast-paced world of cybersecurity. You’ll gain hands-on experience identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, engaging with prospects, and supporting pipeline growth.

You’ll work closely with experienced SDRs and sales leaders to learn the strategies and tools used in modern sales development. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop critical communication and lead-generation skills while contributing to our company’s growth.

This role will be hybrid from our Boston Office.

The internship will run June 8th - August 14th.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach, to generate qualified leads.

  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and hand them off to the sales team.

  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and activities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Attend team meetings and training sessions to learn about the company’s products, services, and target markets.

  • Help to drive attendance to local events and jointly work with marketing and sales on local events

  • Support other sales initiatives and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

  • Comfortable engaging with potential customers via phone, email, and social media.

  • Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in sales, technology, and/or cybersecurity.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales (e.g., internships, part-time roles, or academic projects).

  • Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

  • Knowledge of basic sales principles and prospecting techniques.
