The Sales Development Representative will focus on cold outreach, support Account Executives, and track sales activities in CRM to achieve quotas.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate Business Development Representative who is creative, with high sense of urgency, sincere, hungry to succeed, preferably in the Eastern US.

- Cold outreach to new prospects
- Out-bounding is the critical focus, but also handling inbounds
- Investigate customer problems and challenges and identify leads that should go to Account Executives
- Leveraging channels across LinkedIn, calls, and emails, to target prospects
- Establish best practices and efficient processes
- Work closely with Account Executives to refine messaging and targeted outbound strategy
- Identify trends from prospective customers to share with the product, marketing and customer success teams
- Track and log all sales activity in our CRM (SFDC) and other tools
- Achieve or exceed monthly quotas and KPI's
You will be calling into the following customers:
- US Federal Civilian Agencies (DHS, CISA, CIS, SSA, USDA, FDA, DOE)
- Department of Defense commands (USAF, USMC, USN, USA, DISA, DIA)
- Federal System Integrators such as: Leidos, Lockheed Martin, GDIT, SAIC, Accenture Federal, Raytheon…all of which are existing customers.
- Ideally 1-2 years in a biz dev, lead gen, (phone-based).
- Experience in SaaS/enterprise/cyber security companies is advantageous but not essential
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Fluent English speaker, any other languages are considerable a plus
- Self-starter personality with a track record of success
- Someone who is a hunter that will work with their AE's to develop lead sources and learn to sell our products
- Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment; willing to adjust working hours to accommodate peak periods at the end of the month and the end of the quarter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
