The opportunity

Join us and inspire the next generation of energy solutions! Our Sales DACH Trainee Program offers you a unique start to your career in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. You will rotate through three assignments. The program lasts 1.5 years, including an international placement, and gain deep insights into our diverse sales functions. This program empowers you to learn, grow, and secure a permanent role in a global, innovative company. 

How you’ll make an impact

  • Collaborate with experienced professionals in local and regional sales teams and contribute to drive the energy transition in Europe

  • Contribute to market analysis and be active part of developing new business solutions in the context of data centers, electrical utility business and other segments

  • Gain a broad understanding of Hitachi Energy’s solution portfolio

  • Participate in trainings to develop technical and personal skills

  • Learn more about our company and business unit strategies

  • Receive regular feedback and mentorship to strengthen your capabilities

Your background

  • Master’s degree in electrical, business, or software engineering

  • Proficient in written and spoken German and English, additional languages are considered as an advantage

  • Customer-oriented and team mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills

  • A drive to learn new skills as well as open to receiving and providing feedback

  • A positive attitude with an innovative and creative mindset

  • International mobility required for your assignments
