Sales Consultant / Business Development opportunity – NYC – $85K-$95K Base + Uncapped Commission About the Role You will serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, helping them streamline operations and accelerate growth through comprehensive HR solutions, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and consulting services.
Key Responsibilities Territory Ownership
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan within the assigned NYC metro territory Manage a diverse pipeline across multiple industries Prospecting & Pipeline Development
Generate new leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and partnerships Build and maintain strong client relationships Consultative Selling
Identify client needs and position tailored solutions Clearly communicate value and return on investment Full Sales Cycle
Manage multiple 3–6 month sales cycles simultaneously Conduct discovery calls, demos, proposals, and negotiations Present to business owners, executives, and key stakeholders Performance & Tools
Meet or exceed sales quota Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting Utilize tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator Qualifications 3+ years of B2B sales experience (complex or multi-step sales cycles) Proven ability to prospect and close new business Strong communication and presentation skills Experience selling to decision-makers and executive-level stakeholders Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office Preferred
