The PSE Platform Leader will work across the CT7 matrix team providing commercial rotorcraft support for global CT7 Operators. In this role you will demonstrate leadership by performing as the CT7 Platform Team member working with Program managers, Military Propulsion & Power Engineering (MPPE) Model leaders, Customer Support Managers, and Maintenance Cost Per Hour (MCPH) Program Managers. Role Overview: As a Rotorcraft Product Support Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering maximum customer value by driving customer responsiveness and diagnostics while reducing direct operating costs of the CT7 Turboshaft engine family. This position is full-time and primarily on-site. You will work across the CT7 matrix team providing commercial rotorcraft support for global CT7 Operators, ensuring continued airworthiness and outstanding customer service.

  • Assure the airworthiness and safety of the assigned fielded CT7 turboshaft platforms.

  • Act as the CT7 Platform FAA, EASA, and other Government Regulatory Authority focal.

  • Define, develop, and implement digital solutions for CT7 fleet customers utilizing aircraft HUMs data.

  • Provide technical assistance to operators, maintainers, and field service engineers in troubleshooting CT7 Turboshaft engine issues.

  • Track fleet metrics, utilizing FDM, by owning the Platform Fleet/LRU Reliability Scorecard, prepare presentations, and conduct monthly reviews on the status of the fleet reliability metrics with internal and external customers for assigned CT7 Platform.

  • Enhance the reputation of GE and the product in the field through superior technical support.

  • Participate as an active member on the CT7 Platform team working with Program Managers, Customer Support Managers, MCPH Program Managers, and MPPE Platform Leaders.

  • Own the Product Support Plan portion of the Product Life Cycle Plan Field Plan working with MCPH Program Managers, Customer Support managers, PSE Propulsion Engineer, and MPPE Platform Leaders.

  • Assist in developing technical solutions addressing operator issues on the CT7 Turboshaft Platform by participating in NPI programs, representing the voice of the end customers, to enhance the performance, durability, maintainability, cost-effectivity, and customer satisfaction for CT7 Turboshaft platforms working with the PSE Propulsion Engineer.

  • Own CT7 engine maintenance manual and Fault Isolation manual. Author both manual corrections/revisions and service bulletins along with assisting operators in interpreting both aircraft/engine maintenance manuals.

  • Develop programs with the goal to increase Engine TOW for operators.

  • Lead field event investigations for CT7 Platform.

  • Manage communication among internal organizations and customers to ensure effective product support and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical environment, or an associate’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical environment.

  • 3 years’ experience in engine systems, controls operability, performance, or turbo machinery.

  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma training or quality training.

  • Strong program management skills.

  • Knowledge of various matrix support service groups: Repair Engineering, Tech Pubs, and Support Equipment.

  • Ability to motivate and influence individuals and teams.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to interact with customers successfully.

  • PC Proficiency.

  • Experience with regulatory authorities such as FAA or EASA.

  • Knowledge of GE Aviation Commercial products, services, and processes.
