As a Vice President in AI Governance in the MRGR AI Governance team, you lead and execute firmwide and internal governance initiatives for GenAI/LLM tools and AI models. You drive practical product thinking and prototype delivery in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. You help us build scalable governance frameworks and collaborate across functions. You use your expertise to solve real-world challenges and support our strong, resilient culture.

Job responsibilities:

  • Design and implement GenAI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify emerging AI/ML and GenAI practices
  • Drive updates to model risk management policies and standards
  • Partner across functions to design controls and scalable processes
  • Own project workstreams end-to-end
  • Develop senior management and regulatory communications
  • Perform analysis on model/tool classification and governance frameworks
  • Serve as a GenAI governance subject matter expert
  • Use coding agents to build prototypes and operationalize governance
  • Produce readable code, tests, and documentation
  • Build lightweight web prototypes for governance workflows

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5 years in risk management, technology, model development, or model risk roles in large organizations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong risk and control mindset
  • Translate governance requirements into user journeys and prototypes
  • Understanding of GenAI/LLM methodologies and business risks
  • Lead governance/framework build-out and deliver change
  • Background in Model Governance, Model Validation, or Regulatory Relations
  • Build web prototypes for governance workflows

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • MS degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Python proficiency and familiarity with LLM/GenAI libraries
  • Understanding of responsible AI expectations and model risk regulation
  • Understanding of cloud-based solutions and deployment considerations
  • Experience with technology systems design practices (Agile, story writing, Figma UX)
