Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Supervises the revenue team using a variety of processes to meet overall objectives in revenue and accounts receivable for multiple programs across the company.  

  • Ensures revenue recognition is consistent with U.S. GAAP, PCG policies, and customer contracts.  

  • Recognizes, anticipates, and resolves billing, revenue recognition, and cash application issues; makes recommendations to management as applicable.  

  • Prepares revenue, billing, and accounts receivable reports and analysis for submission to management as needed.  

  • Prepares journal entries for month end, quarter end, and year end close for all revenue related accounts.  

  • Ensures timely invoicing for projects across all practice areas.  

  • Serves as primary point of contact for external auditors for all revenue and accounts receivable related transactions.  

  • Serves as primary point of contact for project teams in all practice areas to resolve revenue recognition/billing related issues and provide support as needed.  

  • Builds trust and collaboration amongst the team by enhancing employee engagement, addressing performance results, and providing coaching and mentoring.  

  • Monitors, tracks, and evaluates staff productivity and performance and provide summary report to management.  

  • Oversees department training and individual development of team members.  

Required Skills 

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong capabilities in change management.  

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple, complex projects with high quality results.  

  • Strong collaborative skills to form working relationships with clients, other departments, and senior management.  

  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information and reach sound conclusions.  

  • Ability to perform A/R statistical analysis, identify gaps, develop and deploy solutions necessary for achievement of key metrics (days in A/R, aged receivables, denial rate, bad debt percentages).  

  • Ability to lead teams in process redesign/change management.  

Qualifications

   

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 
  • Experience: :5+ years of experience with revenue/accounts receivable at large companies, detailed understanding of ASC 606, experience with Workday or similar large company accounting software Certification 

Working Conditions 

  • Hybrid 

 

Supervisory Responsibility 

  • Responsible for supervision and development of revenue team consisting of 3+ staff at various levels.

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $115,000-$125,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below.
