The Research Operations Coordinator supports research studies by managing participant communications, onboarding, administrative tasks, and enhancing team workflows for WHOOP Labs.

WHOOP Labs is the product development research arm of WHOOP, focused on conducting human subjects research to develop next-gen features and technology.
As a WHOOP Labs Research Operations Coordinator, you will work alongside the WHOOP Labs team to support research operations for studies happening across the lab. Your efforts will help the organization continue to push the envelope and lead the wearables industry.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Conduct participant onboarding upon lab arrival including greeting participants, answering questions, enforcing policies (e.g. late arrival, phone use), and informed consent
- Help manage participant communications through email and SMS
- Conduct community outreach to support participant panel development including researching local organizations, identifying relevant points of contact, and opening communications
- Conduct a range of administrative and logistical tasks to support new studies that come into the lab such as device management, participant compensation, survey distribution, or data entry
- Collaborate on Research Operations projects aimed at improving efficiency, and contribute ideas that enhance team workflows, participant experience, and the scalability of operations
- Track success metrics for ReOps projects you own
- Strong organizational skills and ability to create documentation for ReOps initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience related to customer service, hospitality, or other “front of house” roles
- Experience communicating with study participants in person, via email, and through SMS
- Strong attention to detail and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort learning and using technical tools, including but not limited to Google Sheets, internal platforms, and third-party systems
- Interest in analytics, interpreting data, and using reports to identify trends to inform process improvements
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree or above in any relevant field
