POSITION: Research Investigator Cell Therapy
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Research Investigator Cell Therapy with the following duties: Work with departmental and/or cross functional peers in the lab to develop and evaluate elements of the digital tool kit during live experiments/manufacturing runs under limited supervision; assist in the development and implementation of novel manufacturing and digital technologies; support the deployment of digital tool sets through training of cross-functional staff and help to trouble-shoot issues; translate functional and capabilities requirements from biology execution teams into required specifications for digital development teams; review, interpret, and communicate data internally through team presentations and writing of technical reports; as necessary, work with senior lab members to execute complex experiments in the lab supporting the larger team goals to deliver manufacturable protocols for Cell Therapy manufacturing. Up to 80% remote work allowed.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in biology, engineering, or related pharmaceutical science engineering field, plus 2 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: planning, designing, and executing experiments independently to validate new methods or devices to support the completion of complex assignments within a project; collecting and aggregating data from experiments, analyzing and transforming that data to support technology adoption or hypothesis testing; training, deploying, and providing ongoing support as a subject matter expert on digital platforms related to experiment design, devices, and materials; generating problem statements from biological teams and seamlessly translating those into user requirements for digital development teams; using and programming in data science languages such as R, python, JMP, etc.
Full time. $96,600 to $165,600 per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
