As a Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist within the Research P&A Reporting team, you will be responsible for analyzing data, developing new reporting capabilities by leveraging new age technologies like Databricks, SQL, Python, etc., and promoting continuous improvements. You will work closely with Research Business Managers (BMs) and Global Research Analysts of JPM across different regions to perform analysis and automation, providing insights for the research published globally by JPM.

As a Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist within the Research P&A Reporting team, you will be responsible for analyzing data, developing new reporting capabilities by leveraging new age technologies like Databricks, SQL, Python, etc., and promoting continuous improvements. You will work closely with Research Business Managers (BMs) and Global Research Analysts of JPM across different regions to perform analysis and automation, providing insights for the research published globally by JPM.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce performance reports and management reports summarizing key performance indicators, using tools such as Databricks, SQL, Python, Qlik Sense, Alteryx, Tableau Excel, Macro and PowerPoint
- Applying critical eye, enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible
- Support the development, execution and delivery of our reporting strategy.
- Execute data driven projects through all aspects of data operations, business requirement analysis, definition, assessment, development and validation
- Collaborating with stakeholders along the delivery chain, acting as the key liaison for research reporting enhancement request management.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to ensure that requirements and deliverables are clearly and thoroughly understood.
- Complete documentation in support of project deliverables including process flow and training guides.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
- Required Skill - Databricks, SQL, Python,
- Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets
- Highly motivated, self starter, team player, Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
- Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments with often little lead time or information
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Knowledge on Qlik Sense,Alteryx,Tableau, Excel, Macro, Power Point is a plus
- Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
- 7+ years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services
