DexCare is looking for a Release Manager to collaborate across the Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Customer Experience organizations. You will be a critical member of the organization, defining release plans, improving processes, and coordinating the communication and roll out of our software.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Engineering Managers and Customer Experience to establish clear release timelines across QA, UAT, and Production environments for multiple enterprise customers.
- Build and maintain deployment schedules, tracking dependencies, blockers, and risks.
- Coordinate deployment teams and resources, managing assignments and ensuring readiness ahead of each deployment window.
- Be a technical expert in building and deploying software; this includes software branching, configuration, creating builds, packaging, and publishing releases.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track real-time release progress, service deployments, and post-deployment performance indicators.
- Coordinate across App Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Experience to ensure release notes are clear and ready to be published.
- Communicate status to deployments to the organization.
- Coordinate all required steps to ensure an uneventful and successful software upgrade for each of our customer environments.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years collaborating across an organization to release software.
- Understanding of release management standards, best practices, control processes and tools, and how to tailor to different organizations.
- A detail-oriented mindset, key to delivering and communicating in a consistent manner.
- Strong experience with strategic planning, risk management, change management, and project management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-driven, able to take ownership of release tasks and work proactively to resolve issues
- Experience with CI/CD systems including source control, build systems, automated test systems, and software delivery systems.
- Experience with Atlassian, Jira and Confluence is preferred.
