We're looking for a sales leader to build and scale our North Central business and sales team. You'll own new-customer acquisition and growth within existing accounts, helping organizations use AI, automation, and integration to power their most important workflows.

You'll hire and coach a team, shape our regional go-to-market strategy, and work directly with customers on their highest-value opportunities. This role calls for a hands-on leader who can win new business while developing long-term customer relationships in a fast-changing market.

What you'll be doing
  • Hire, develop, and lead a sales team accountable for winning new customers and growing existing accounts. Coach sellers on discovery, account planning, and closing complex enterprise deals.
  • Build and execute our North Central growth strategy. Work with Marketing and partners to create qualified pipeline for new business and account expansion.
  • Lead account strategies that connect technical champions with executive sponsors across security, IT, and business teams. Help customers identify important workflows and build a business case for broader adoption.
  • Own expansion within existing accounts, including helping customers transition to our latest platform. Partner with Customer Success and Sales Engineering to establish clear adoption plans, demonstrate additional value, and support strong renewals and advocacy.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to deliver relevant demonstrations and focused evaluations with clear success criteria. Show customers how they can put AI to work while meeting their security and governance requirements.
  • Own regional revenue performance and forecasting across new business and expansion. Establish disciplined qualification, deal reviews, and repeatable sales processes.
What you bring with you
  • 10+ years of SaaS or technology sales experience, including at least three years of direct sales leadership, with a record of hiring and developing successful teams.
  • A record of exceeding enterprise sales targets through new-customer acquisition and existing-account expansion, including closing large deals involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience selling emerging technology and helping existing customers adopt new platform capabilities. You can build a compelling case for change grounded in customer priorities and measurable value.
  • The ability to earn trust with technical buyers and senior executives, explain technical capabilities in business terms, and develop relationships across departments.
  • Strong sales judgment and personal accountability, supported by disciplined forecasting and experience applying methodologies such as MEDDIC or Challenger. You communicate clearly, work well across teams, and coach sellers through change.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Target Annual Compensation: $195-200k salary + $195-200k commission = $390-400k OTE + Equity

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
