The Job:
As a Regional Support Engineer, you will work closely with DEWALT Field Engineers and the Anchors & Fasteners specialty team to provide operational support. This will include using technical data, proprietary design software and market databases to provide answers to product questions and providing project specification leads to generate sales leads.  You’ll get to: 

  • Provide support and collaborate with internal teams; sales teams, the Field Engineering Team and ANF Specialists to drive growth
  • Develop a strong understanding of specified fastening products (under the DEWALT and Elco brands), how they are used in construction and how they are designed in accordance with current building codes
  • Create engineering product submittals for field personnel to facilitate the sale of DEWALT Specified products
  • Regularly analyzing jobsite data and upcoming construction projects to provide leads to local sales teams, Field Engineering team and ANF Specialists using Dodge Pipeline and Salesforce
  • Maintain & analyze client records in CRM (customer relationship management) to support the ANF team in opportunity pipeline development
  • Provide support for ANF leadership team as required

The Person:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent with technical component required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction industry, sales experience is a plus
  • Construction Jobsite experience required
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction specifications, and documents
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems a plus
  • A desire to develop strong communication skills – both spoken and written – mandatory
  • Able to handle multiple priorities, organize, plan, and meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Interpersonal, follow-up, and documentation skills
  • Self-starter with ability to manage own schedule and work as “home-based”
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Salesforce, Bluebeam, MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • 20% Travel Required

The Salary range for this position is $62,200.00 - $100,200.00
