Position Overview

We’re seeking a driven, results-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales growth in the Central region of North America. In this role, you’ll work closely with distributor partners’ sales teams to hit ambitious sales targets, craft and execute regional strategies, and deliver exceptional experiences to K18’s salon and stylist communities.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in industry sales, excels at building strong relationships, and knows how to turn strategy into results. You’ll be a proactive partner to our distributors and an inspiring advocate for our innovation-first, education-led approach.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you’ll combine creativity, business acumen, and leadership to drive revenue, expand our footprint, and strengthen our presence in the professional beauty market.

Key Responsibilities

Field Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Identify, engage, and convert new salon partners that align with our brand vision.
  • Develop annual, account-specific growth plans using data insights to maximize profitability and overcome challenges.
  • Collaborate with Education and Field Sales teams to deliver seamless onboarding and a premium experience for new accounts.
  • Conduct compelling presentations and product demos showcasing our brand story, patented technology, and support tools.
  • Train and support distributor partners and sales teams in product knowledge and sales techniques to ensure success.

Account Management & Relationship Building

  • Strengthen partnerships with distributor field teams to position K18 as the leader in the repair category.
  • Spot growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop tailored strategies to capture them.
  • Act as the primary regional contact, gathering market insights and fostering loyalty through value-driven engagement.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, adjusting tactics as needed to meet goals.
  • Maintain accurate activity and customer records in the CRM system.

Business Development

  • Partner with marketing, brand education, finance, and activation teams to align efforts and amplify impact.
  • Negotiate and secure high-value salon partnerships, including complex deals.
  • Represent K18 at trade shows and industry events to network, share expertise, and uncover new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in business development or sales, ideally in the beauty or consumer goods sector.
  • In-depth understanding of the professional salon industry and passion for beauty innovation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-focused.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Willingness to travel 60–70% to maintain strong regional connections.
  • Social media savvy.

Salary Range: up to $90-105k USD

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
