The Regional Sales Director, MedTech will play a critical role in leading a high-performing sales team within the Americas, responsible for driving revenue growth and customer success within the MedTech vertical here at PTC. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, this role demands a strong focus on executing sales strategies, maintaining customer satisfaction, and achieving ambitious revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have proven sales leadership experience, a track record of exceeding targets, and a deep understanding of industry trends and market dynamics. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 5-6 sales professionals, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to achieve individual and team goals. Foster a results-driven environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. 

  • Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth and market share expansion. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize sales territories and capitalize on new business opportunities. 

  • Pipeline and Forecast Management: Drive New ACV Growth and oversee pipeline development, consistently reviewing forecasts to ensure alignment with sales goals and proactively identifying opportunities for additional growth. 

  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and manage escalations with empathy and professionalism. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with inside sales, marketing, product management, and customer support teams to execute go-to-market strategies and enhance customer success. Collaborate with the broader field ecosystem to align on strategic priorities and optimize resources. 

  • Sales Team Enablement: Equip the sales team with product knowledge, training, and industry insights, utilizing tools like Field Academy and CRM analytics for enhanced sales effectiveness. Facilitate skill development in sales techniques and solution-based selling approaches. 

  • Budget and Resource Management: Effectively manage and allocate the regional sales budget, focusing on maximizing ROI and achieving revenue objectives. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Leadership and Influence: Proven ability to inspire and drive a sales team to achieve and exceed targets. A collaborative mindset with the capacity to work effectively across various regions and functional areas. 

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of relevant industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. 

  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical abilities, with a knack for data-driven decision-making to inform sales strategies and optimize performance. 

  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. 

Experience and Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. 

  • Minimum of 10 years in sales, with at least 5 years in a sales management capacity. 

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets. 

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., SFDC), analytics tools, and forecast management software. 

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated success in managing a high-performing sales team in a software or technology environment. 

  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and a solutions-oriented approach to sales. 

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
