We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-focused professional who enjoys being out in the community, developing new connections, and turning those relationships into real employment opportunities for graduates.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Regional Employer Partnerships & Career Outcomes Specialist, you’ll work with employers, graduates, and Career Services teams to develop partnerships that create a strong pipeline of career opportunities.
Candidates must have the ability to travel regularly throughout the state of Massachusetts as assigned, with travel of up to 50% and to work on-site at an assigned campus when not traveling
The on-site campus can be based out of one of our following Connecticut campus locations: Brockton, Springfield, Worcester
You will:
- Build and maintain relationships with employers across skilled-trades and allied-health industries
- Identify and develop new employer partnerships through outreach, networking, referrals, job fairs, industry events, and employer visits
- Meet with employers to understand their hiring needs, workforce challenges, required skills, and hiring timelines
- Communicate the value of our programs and connect employers with qualified graduates
- Develop and manage a pipeline of employers and job opportunities throughout your assigned region
- Match qualified graduates with relevant employment opportunities and coordinate resumes, interviews, feedback, and hiring follow-up
- Develop long-term employer relationships that result in repeat hiring and ongoing partnerships
- Support career fairs, advisory committees, classroom presentations, mock interviews, employer site visits, mentorship opportunities, and other employer engagement activities
- Work with Career Services and campus leadership to support programs that need additional assistance meeting employment outcomes
- Contact graduates to provide job-search assistance, identify employment status, and reconnect graduates with available opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of employer activity, job opportunities, graduate referrals, interviews, hires, and employment outcomes
- Review activity and employment data to identify opportunities and prioritize outreach
- Collaborate with Career Services, Education, Admissions/Marketing, Compliance, and campus leadership
- Participate in regional projects, training, and ongoing professional development
Minimum Requirements
Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years of progressive experience in career services, recruiting, staffing, workforce development, employer relations, business development, consultative sales, higher education, or a closely related field
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation, facilitation, negotiation, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing regional needs and priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience using a CRM, applicant tracking system, or student information system
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education, communications, workforce development, or a related field
- Experience in postsecondary career education, proprietary education, community colleges, workforce agencies, staffing, or apprenticeship ecosystems
- Experience developing employer partnerships or business-to-business relationships
- Experience connecting candidates or graduates with employment opportunities
