Turn Organic Waste into Opportunity. Drive Sales. Power a More Sustainable Future.

Ready to turn your sales expertise into meaningful environmental impact? Join Vanguard Renewables and help transform food and organic waste into renewable energy while building strategic partnerships that move the sustainability industry forward.

Vanguard Renewables is a national leader in environmental services and the development of food and dairy waste-to-renewable energy projects. Through our innovative Farm Powered® platform, we build, own, and operate on-farm anaerobic digestion facilities that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, generate renewable energy, and support regenerative agriculture.

As a portfolio company of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a part of BlackRock, Vanguard Renewables is continuing to expand its national footprint and advance the future of renewable energy.

We're looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Regional Account Manager in the New England area to help fuel that growth. If you're a relationship builder who thrives on prospecting, navigating complex B2B sales, and closing deals, this is an opportunity to make your mark in a growing industry where business development and environmental progress go hand in hand.

What You'll Do: Build Partnerships. Close Deals. Make an Impact.

As the Regional Account Manager, you'll own feedstock acquisition within your assigned territory, developing a strong pipeline of food waste and organic materials to support Vanguard Renewables' anaerobic digestion facilities. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships, negotiating solutions, and ultimately closing deals that drive business growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive New Business: Identify, prospect, develop, and close new organic feedstock accounts to achieve assigned daily tonnage acquisition targets within your territory.
  • Own the Sales Cycle: Manage the full sales process, from outbound prospecting and initial conversations through consultative discovery, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Establish and grow trusted partnerships with prospective clients and key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and business decision-makers.
  • Become a Market Expert: Develop a deep understanding of the regional waste and organics landscape, identifying market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and potential feedstock sources.
  • Sell Solutions: Understand prospective clients' operational challenges and service needs, using consultative selling techniques and pricing tools to develop tailored proposals.
  • Maintain a Strong Pipeline: Use Salesforce CRM to document prospecting activity, track opportunities, maintain accurate records, and manage sales progress.
  • Represent Vanguard Renewables: Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and other business development opportunities to expand your network and strengthen our regional presence.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with Logistics, Operations, Sales, and Accounting to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience and successful ongoing relationships.
  • Navigate Complex Sales: Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to move proposals through the sales process and convert opportunities into lasting partnerships.
