Hiring Range: $65,649 - $105,507

Eastern Bank is hiring a Recruiter to join our dynamic team- Hybrid (2-3 days a week in Wakefield, MA or Brockton, MA)

You will be instrumental in attracting talent to the organization utilizing your recruiting expertise and experience. Leveraging your recruiting expertise, you will source, qualify, interview, and present to management both active and passive candidates for hiring. Your innovative ideas are critical to success in this role as well as attracting the most qualified candidates. You will be directly involved with identifying the talent that enables Eastern to fulfill our mission to be the best for our clients, community and employees. 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process for multiple positions across all business units
  •  Partner with hiring managers to understand business units, functional and candidate requirements for a variety of open positions to source qualified candidates 
  • Assist with development of sourcing strategies by making recommendations based on market and candidate knowledge 
  • Employ various techniques (databases, internet sourcing, niche boards, networking, social media) to find active and passive candidates 
  • Build a pipeline of top talent by sourcing across multiple and creative channels. 
  • Add value to the candidate experience by going beyond the job description during phone screens, providing deeper insight into how the position fits within the candidates respective skill set as well as Eastern as a whole.
  •  Ensure a great candidate experience by keeping candidates continually informed with quality communications throughout the hiring process.
  •  Build strong relationships and collaborate with Eastern's hiring managers to understand their unique hiring needs and goals, and evaluate candidates with focus. 
  • Drive offer process, including offer approvals, negotiations, and closings.
  •  Represent Eastern's mission, vision, and values with integrity and professionalism. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline preferred or equivalent relevant work experience. 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in a fast paced environment including, but not limited to, successfully sourcing diverse range of applicants, qualifying, interviewing, networking, assessing, salary negotiations, and relationship management. 
  • Strong sourcing and research skills, ability to develop robust, high quality pipelines and think outside the job description. E
  • Experience working in a hybrid work environment a plus. 
  • Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process 
  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of Eastern's value proposition and exhibits the ability to represent our brand effectively across multiple channels of communication
  • Proven track record of successful offer negotiations. 
  • Self-driven and highly motivated, with a true sense of ownership from start to finish 
  • Must be extremely diligent and detail oriented 
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency 
  • Robust verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organization and candidate management skills Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and applicant tracking systems, ORC  preferred.
