About the role:
As a R&D Veeva CoE Solution Lead, you will lead a product initiative within the Takeda portfolio, focusing on customer needs, strategic product roadmap, and go-to-market strategy. This role ensures the product aligns with business objectives and delivers value across the organization.
How will you contribute:
- Serves as the single point of contact for cross-vault Veeva Vault value definition and realization activities at the platform level.
- Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert that will enable, track, explain cross-vault automation and vault connectivity to other Takeda technology that maximizes business value of the platform.
- Collaborate with the Vault platform business owners and business process owners to understand business needs and align to overall cross-vault platform strategy.
- Develop and own Veeva Vault platform roadmap based on aligned cross-vault platform strategy.
- Develop and maintain Veeva Vault Platform solution roadmap, incorporating cross-vault connectors and vault to external system integrations.
- Develop understanding of the core technology issues central to the R&D Veeva Vault Platform through shared partnerships with functional business areas.
- Be a Steering Committee member of key cross-vault programs.
- Partner with execution teams and function-specific capabilities to support impact assessments and plan for cross-Vault feature implementation, change management and training.
- Establish and manage Veeva COE engagement via community development, newsletters, town halls, etc.
- Define and monitor success metrics related to the value of the Veeva Platform and ensure the value of the Veeva Platform is realized.
- Serve as single point of contact for the cross-vault, and vault to external systems solution roadmap, based on the cross-vault strategy defined with the broader COE in conjunction with the functional business units.
- Participate in R&D Veeva CoE leadership team meetings.
- Define and establish standard best practices for delivery of R&D Vault training, communications, and change management in partnership with change management leaders within the R&D Organization.
- Identify and advocate for cross-vault / vault-to-non-vault technology that maximizes business benefit of the platform.
- Strong knowledge of product management methodologies.
- Operational knowledge of Veeva Vault
- Operational knowledge of relevant R&D business processes as they relate to Veeva Vault.
- Establish and manage Veeva Vault platform cross-vault and vault to external system solution roadmap through collaboration with COE team members and functional business stakeholders.
- Present solution roadmap to internal stakeholders and align resources to deliver roadmap.
- Provide Voice of the Customer feedback and continuous improvement
- Leverage independent judgment to determine optimal methods of task completion and work prioritization.
- Adherence to R&D policies, processes and standards.
- Authority to delegate tasks and responsibilities to other team-members.
- Within the R&D Veeva CoE team - working with peers to deliver across business regions in a seamless fashion.
- Work with Global Development Compliance, to ensure process, change and training activities related to cross-vault solutions are accounted for and delivered.
- Within the R&D team - working with leaders and designees across the organization to ensure consistent, seamless delivery on platform product management activities, share best practices with other product leaders and ensure alignment between cross-vault processes and business processes.
- External Partners: working with external vendors, to implement cross-vault platform solutions
- Participation in Technology platform and services pilots and solution finding with the R&D Veeva CoE Team.
- Creativity in addressing technical challenges in highly regulated and complex environment.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field or equivalent experience required, Master's Degree preferred.
- 6+ years experience as a product manager in a complex, multi-product environment.
- 2+ Years of setting performance standards in a comparable role
- Prosci other other relevant change management certification would be ideal.
- Experience managing FTE, consulting and/or contract resources to support product development activities.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- A collaborative and curious mindset is an absolute must.
