We are expanding our Mobile Apps Engineering Team and seeking a Scrum Master who will help drive agility, efficiency, and delivery excellence across our mobile development squads.
As a Scrum Master at Digitain, you will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, removing delivery blockers, and enabling high-performing cross-functional teams within the mobile apps engineering department. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, QA, and Design to ensure the successful and timely delivery of complex features and app enhancements across multiple platforms (iOS & Android).
You will be a servant leader and agile coach, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and predictable delivery within Digitain’s fast-paced B2B iGaming environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlogs are groomed, prioritized, and sprint-ready.
- Drive predictable and high-quality delivery of mobile features while managing dependencies with backend, sportsbook, and platform teams.
- Track sprint velocity, monitor progress, and proactively identify risks to delivery timelines.
- Remove blockers and collaborate with engineering leads to resolve technical impediments quickly.
- Serve as the primary delivery facilitator between the mobile engineering squads and cross-functional stakeholders, including product, design, QA, compliance, and platform engineering.
- Support Product Owners in communicating sprint progress, release readiness, and delivery timelines to senior leadership.
- Ensure smooth coordination with the QA automation team to reduce release bottlenecks and improve time-to-market.
- Coach engineering teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices tailored for Digitain’s scale and complexity.
- Foster a continuous improvement culture by tracking delivery KPIs and implementing process optimizations.
- Collaborate with the PMO and Head of Mobile to define and maintain DORA metrics and delivery health dashboards.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Manager, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching engineering squads.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and scaling practices.
- Proven track record of driving delivery for complex mobile apps (iOS & Android).
- Excellent knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and agile reporting tools.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multi-national, cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing dependencies between mobile apps, sportsbook, and backend engineering components.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in iGaming, sportsbook, casino, or fintech environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, QA automation strategies, and mobile release management.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven delivery in iGaming.
- Familiarity with Flutter, React Native, or hybrid mobile frameworks.
