Description
Digitain is a leading B2B iGaming solutions provider, offering a cutting-edge platform, in-house sportsbook, and comprehensive suite of products to operators worldwide. With a strong focus on innovation and scalability, we empower our partners to deliver engaging sportsbook and casino experiences across web and mobile.
As we continue expanding into regulated markets and enhancing our mobile-first capabilities, we are looking for a Product Owner – Mobile Apps to join our dynamic team and drive the evolution of our iOS and Android native apps for sportsbook, casino, and other gaming products.
The Product Owner – Mobile Apps will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our native iGaming apps, ensuring they deliver best-in-class user experiences, comply with regulatory standards, and stay ahead of industry trends. You will act as the bridge between stakeholders, engineering, UX/UI, compliance, QA, and commercial teams, transforming business goals into clear product requirements and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and backlog for mobile apps across sportsbook, casino, and platform modules.
- Define and prioritise features and enhancements based on customer value, market trends, and business objectives.
- Partner closely with the Head of Mobile and CPO to align the mobile strategy with the company’s vision and commercial targets.
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to ensure our apps remain innovative and market-leading.
- Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with clear and actionable specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and project management to ensure efficient delivery within agreed timelines and technical constraints.
- Work closely with QA to define test scenarios and maintain high app quality, especially around sportsbook features, real-time betting, and casino integrations.
- Support cross-platform consistency between mobile apps, responsive web, and desktop experiences.
- Act as the primary liaison between commercial, compliance, BI, UX/UI, engineering, and QA teams.
- Partner with the Integration Team to onboard new casino and sportsbook providers into the mobile ecosystem.
- Coordinate with Compliance to ensure apps meet jurisdictional regulations (e.g., MGA, UKGC, ONJN, US states).
- Work with Marketing & CRM to support mobile-specific promotions and player engagement strategies.
- Analyse user data, funnel conversion, and app performance metrics to identify UX bottlenecks and growth opportunities.
- Drive A/B testing and experimentation to optimise player journeys and improve retention.
- Collaborate with BI and CX teams to ensure data-driven product decisions.
Requirements
Essential:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in iGaming, sportsbook, or B2B SaaS environments.
- Hands-on experience managing native mobile apps (iOS & Android), preferably within high-traffic, transactional products.
- Strong understanding of iGaming ecosystems: sportsbook mechanics, casino integrations, payments, KYC, and responsible gaming.
- Proven ability to work with engineering teams using Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with regulated markets (EU, UK, US, MGA, ONJN, KSA, etc.) and corresponding compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge of analytics tools (Firebase, GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.).
- Exposure to A/B testing frameworks and mobile UX optimisation.
- Technical awareness of APIs, SDKs, and mobile app architecture is a plus.
