partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. The Quantitative Market Research Methodologist works with ZS client teams to execute the design and delivery of challenging and complex quantitative market research projects. As part of ZS' Quantitative Market Research Expertise Center delivery team, the Methodologist is expected to stay current on the latest quantitative research methodologies and their relevant applications, and share them with internal client teams.
- Actively engage with multiple project teams simultaneously on study design to identify/develop the best methodologies and techniques to address clients' research objectives;
- Support client team delivery of complex quantitative projects:
- Develop study design, including sample plan, questionnaire, etc.
- Develop multi-attribute experimental design and execution of advanced analysis plan
- Perform appropriate statistical modeling methodologies to meet study objectives
- Drive interpretation and presentation of research results in a visual and impactful client-friendly fashion;
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members in the Quantitative MR Expertise Center;
- Collaborate regularly with Quantitative MR Expertise Center members and the broader ZS community to ensure that new research, analysis and measurement techniques inform ZS' market research work;
- Develop and disseminate frameworks and point-of-view documents on key MR issue areas such as, but not limited to: sample size determination, segmentation analyses, conjoint analyses, demand estimation and derived importance measurement.
- MS or PhD in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, econometrics, economics, operations research, decision analysis, or management science;
- Broad quantitative research expertise, with a minimum of 4 years market research experience; experience in pharmaceutical industry highly desirable;
- Demonstrated skills in a market research environment with an advanced knowledge of quantitative market research techniques and industry practices;
- Experience in advanced quantitative methodologies and statistical skills (e.g., regression analyses, factor analysis, cluster analysis, conjoint / choice modeling, latent class segmentation);
- Ability to perform complex analytics and present results in a clear, understandable approach, written and verbal, to both internal and external clients;
- Interest in keeping pace with methodological advances in the field;
- Can work collaboratively in a team setting and motivate others.
