  • Evaluate emerging technologies and portfolio construction techniques with potential to improve investment outcomes.

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of research experience in roles requiring quantitative research, portfolio construction, and technical skills, ideally for a multi-asset class investment process.

  • Graduate degree in related fields such as Finance, Quantitative Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Decision Science, or Computer Science.
  • CFA or related investment certifications are preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Solid skills in programming (Python, R), data access (SQL), version control, and data visualization/BI tools.
  • Exposure to quantitative portfolio construction methods, optimization techniques, tax-sensitive investment management and portfolio analysis, including quantitative portfolio tools such as Barra, Axioma and FactSet; exposure to operations research and agentic artificial intelligence preferred.
  • Analytical and architecture-oriented attitude, ability to visualize patterns and abstract problems, and to collaborate with technology to evolve the investment platform.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, particularly in translating complex quantitative analysis into meaningful and applicable investment solutions.
  • Ability to work across the organization in various disciplines to drive consensus/closure; strong collaboration and influence skills.
  • Creative, innovative thinker with intellectual curiosity and the motivation to learn and grow; willingness to identify and present new research ideas.
