Duties: Develop business strategies using appropriate statistical methods, Profit & Loss criteria, capacity planning and optimization to achieve specific business targets, implement operational rules in an automated environment, and perform end to end monitoring and evaluation of business rule effectiveness. Perform statistical modeling including linear regression and correlation coefficient assists in driving cause and effect of different features and strategies. Design and develop Customer Authentication and Identity metrics and perform ongoing metric monitoring. Develop capabilities to proactively look for and identify attack vectors. Perform ad-hoc analysis to support ongoing management and product area business initiatives. Build and work in a controlled data access and usage environment. Participate in roadmap discussions and capture data requirements to feed into a data roadmap. Drive efficiencies by using data, reporting, and analysis to develop and recommend improvements in existing operational processes. Synthesize analytical findings and articulate analytical findings to enable senior leadership to make evidence-based decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Univariate and multivariate analysis of at least 1 billion records per month; predictive modeling including linear regression, logistic regression, and classification trees; Using SAS to write macro scripts and automation scripts; using SAS in UNIX environment; Extracting and manipulating data from Oracle, Teradata, and Microsoft SQL server; Writing SQL scripts and connecting to databases from both Windows and Unix environments using SQL, Python and SAS; combining datasets using SAS Data step, Python script and SQL; Developing advanced data visualization and presentations including Tableau and Alteryx; Defining Customer Authentication and Identity metrics, evaluating results, and drawing conclusions and insights to design and recommend system or process improvements; defining and establishing controls to monitor controls exceptions, identifying these exceptions, and providing them to a product team for remediation.
