Who we are looking for

 

The Software Quality Assurance Lead is a lead role within an Agile Scrum/Kanban team and responsible for analyzing business and technical specifications to define & execute test cases and capture & track defects.  The role will also include assisting in SCRUM as needed. 

 

As a Software Quality Lead you will:

  • Analyze business and technical specifications

·       Assume a leadership SQA role in assigned Agile Scrum/Kanban rooms with responsibilities to review and provide feedback to SQA team members and research and resolve complex issues/impediments utilizing proven problem-solving skills

·       Assist the Kanban/Agile team with SCRUM functionality, including SDLC documentation and change management preparation. 

·       Work closely and collaborate with other team members in a Kanban/Agile team environment

·       Report and track defects/bugs

·       Demonstrate thorough understanding of leading IT technologies and the software development lifecycle for application testing

·       Ensure proper procedures and controls are in place throughout the software testing process

·       Define and execute functional and regression test cases

·       Capture and save test backup documentation


These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficient in Jira is preferable
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong ability to review and understand complex concepts at a detailed level
  • Ability to multi-task and to take the initiative when needed
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the Software Development Lifecycle such as business and development

 Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented individual and have a minimum of 5 years of SQA experience or demonstrate extensive analytical capabilities and experience in Custody operational processing with a strong interest in pursuing a career path in Software Quality Assurance. 

Work Requirement 

 

  • Hybrid with minimum 4 days in office 
  • 8:00 AM to 5 PM 

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $167,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
