We are seeking a QA Engineer who is passionate about the venture capital ecosystem, entrepreneurship, or emerging technologies. In this role, you will collaborate to design, execute, and automate testing that enhances our marketing, sales, and investment functions, many of which incorporate advanced AI capabilities.
This is a hybrid position based in our new Andover, MA office (three days in-office and two days remote).
This role will be a temporary role from January through March.
What You Will Do- Develop and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
- Build and maintain end to end and component tests in Cypress for UIs and APIs.
- Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines and monitor test reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Triage, reproduce, and document defects with actionable details.
- Contribute to timely, high quality releases by establishing practical quality gates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and Cypress for test automation.
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional QA experience, including automation for web and APIs.
- A dedicated QA professional with expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript and Cypress.
- Skilled at leveraging modern AI tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.
- Proficient in testing web applications and APIs, with strong attention to detail.
- Committed to continuous learning and professional growth.
- An effective collaborator who values working closely with a diverse, cross functional team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (for example, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
- Exposure to the financial or investment industry.
- Experience with device labs or cross browser testing platforms (for example, BrowserStack).
