About This Team:
The Global ABM Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies designed to drive growth in a large portfolio of existing customers, working closely with sales, channel partners, digital, events and performance marketing teams to plan and execute marketing programs.
Job Description/Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Global ABM Marketing, the Public Sector Marketing Manager, North America will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies designed to drive business growth for Citrix within this key sector. Focused on a large portfolio of existing customers, you will work closely with sales, channel partners, digital, events and performance marketing teams to plan and execute marketing programs, which are designed to deepen customer trust, build new relationships and strengthen long-term commitment to Citrix.  

The job holder is accountable for:

Strategy Development & Execution

  • Develop and implement field marketing strategies aligned to Citrix overall growth objectives, as well as priorities for the Public Sector. 

  • Create focused Public Sector marketing plans, taking into account existing stakeholder relationships, account history, competitors present in the account, as well as all applicable regulatory and administrative conditions. 

  • Work closely with Platform Marketing and Moments That Matter to modulate the messaging to fit the Public Sector audience, associated marketing strategy and plans. 

  • Implement account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for key accounts, or specific opportunities.

Collaboration

  • Forge close alliances with Sales and Technical Executive Leaders, as well as partner closely with sales teams to understand their needs, customer relationships and strategic delivery gaps. 

  • Work with AE, ADM and ATS to ensure that programs are aligned to strategic objectives, while deliverables meet the needs of the business and target outcomes. 

  • Support sales in account planning and development of customer engagement plans, using market and business intelligence to provide strategic account and contact insights and inform action planning. 

  • Provide support and coaching on the use of social media e.g. LinkedIn, as a tool for customer engagement.

  • Together with Sales and the Events team, plan and execute Public Sector marketing events, including bespoke hosted events, webinars, and trade shows.

  • Support audience generation for Citrix-owned and third party events, by promoting events to Sales leadership and teams, as well as provide often bespoke or personalized customer facing invitations and collateral. 

  • Work with the Events team to track and demonstrate successful delivery of events via agreed key metrics, as well as sharing feedback on event improvement opportunities.

KPIs & Reporting

  • Monitor and measure the overall performance of marketing activities using key performance indicators agreed with Sales and Marketing leadership. 

  • Establish a regular reporting cadence, providing regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting results, insights, and recommendations for improvement.

  • Provide ongoing data and insights on focus accounts, program performance, use cases and contacts within these accounts

  • With the Performance Marketing team analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies for better ROI.

  • Plan and manage a dedicated marketing budget for field marketing activities, providing regular reporting on spend and forecasts.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Continuously monitor Public Sector trends and keep abreast of competitor activities. 

  • Works with Sales teams to contribute insights and content e.g. for customer presentations, QBRs etc.

  • Share industry and customer insights with other teams e.g. Platform Marketing, Moments that Matter.

Events

  • Together with Sales and the Events team, plan and execute Public Sector marketing events, including bespoke hosted events, webinars, and trade shows.

  • Support audience generation for Citrix-owned and third party events, by promoting events to Sales leadership and teams, as well as provide often bespoke or personalized customer facing invitations and collateral. 

  • Work with the Events team to track and demonstrate successful delivery of events via agreed key metrics, as well as sharing feedback on event improvement opportunities.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Familiarity and experience in multiple marketing functions e.g. marketing communications, digital, Field Marketing, ABM, Market Research.

  • Proven experience as a Field Marketing manager, Account Based Marketing Manager, or a similar role, preferably B2B and in a technology-focused industry. 

  • With years of experience in the Public Sector, North America, the job holder will have excellent knowledge, in terms of Federal, State and Local government structures, governance and administration and demonstrates deep understanding of government priorities, funding, services, values and measurement.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. 

  • Positive networking capabilities..

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes 

  • Expertise in data analysis and reporting.

  •  Excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.

  • Oral and written fluency in English.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

NYC generally ranges: $123,029-$184,543
CA generally ranges: $128,378-$192,568
All other locations fall under our General State range: $106,982-$160,472
