Primary Purpose
This role will manage the process of responding to requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and related materials that help organizations evaluate Bright Horizons’ fit as a service provider. RFP responses are a multifaceted process that require careful project management and rigid adherence to timelines, cross-function collaboration to formulate the response strategy and furnish the necessary information, careful review and copy editing of the full response document(s) for accuracy, brevity, and cohesiveness, and open communication with the sales and account directors who set the engagement strategy with specific accounts. This is a remote position available in the United States.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Engage sales and account management teams to refine and document the strategy for each bid opportunity and reference it as a guidepost for all aspects of an RFI/RFP submission
- Develop strong working relationships with all relevant subject matter experts - spanning functions including information security, operations, product strategy, and legal, among others - that allow you to solicit input on complex issues in short time frames
- Reflect the voice of the customer in all aspects of RFP/RFI submission
- Segment the RFP/RFI response project into discrete steps and establish a project timeline that accounts for client deadlines and requirements, resource constraints, and level of effort
- Manage contributor and reviewer roles according to the strategy and project timeline
- Generate first draft proposals by drawing from the existing content library and applying account-specific details as warranted
- Assist in maintaining the content library by revising existing content to reflect the latest company information, market trends, product capabilities, and supporting statistics, as well as by adding new content sections that emerge in response to proposal requests
- Assist in curating RFP avoidance tools, including no-bid letters and standard proposals, for all lines of service
- Report on all facets of RFP/RFI submission efforts, and identify opportunities for improvement by comparing strategy and tactics to deal outcomes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of RFP/RFI experience, preferably in the enterprise B2B space
Preferred Qualifications:
- Adept at managing tight timelines, competing priorities, and projects that span multiple departments
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships and work cohesively through time-sensitive projects
- Deadline driven
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with core sales concepts including buying centers, value propositions, and differentiation preferred
- Analytical thinker, capable of quickly organizing information related to a market opportunity and outlining a plan
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) and content/project management applications, including Salesforce.com, Loopio, and Monday.com preferred

Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $78,000-$96,000 The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
