We are looking for a director to support the company’s strategy development and execution for the next phase of growth. This individual will work with the executive team on the strategy and plans to execute an aggressive growth opportunity. Plans will include organic and inorganic growth options, strategic partnerships, and additional growth avenues.

Specific responsibility includes:

• Work with executive team to develop Evolv’s strategy and execution plan
• Conduct analyses including strategic assessments, financial modeling, customer interviews & needs mapping, competitive analysis, and industry ecosystem & partnership mapping
• Identify and recommend potential partnerships and acquisition opportunities
• Maintain competitive intelligence and industry ecosystem maps
• Develop and present recommendations to the executive team

The ideal individual for this role will have worked as a strategy consultant with a top tier strategy consulting firm, investment bank or corporate development at a high growth company. The candidate should have the following experience:

• Served as a strategy consultant or in strategy role with 2-4 years’ experience
• Comfortable engaging across an organization from executives to managers and with key customers and partners
• Strong ability for structured problem solving and analysis, quantitative modeling skills, and ability to concisely develop and communicate recommendations

The Strategy Manager will be a key part of the team that defines Evolv’s path forward over the next five years and helps drive the execution of the plan.

Requirements

You possess a unique blend of a strategic perspective with an understanding of the execution required to achieve it. You will be able to interact with a range of people to solicit their ideas and perspectives and conduct data-driven analysis of opportunities. In addition, you can demonstrate the following:

• Experience as a strategy consultant and/or in-house strategy or corporate development lead at a high growth company
• Provide analyses to support strategic plans for a high growth organization including both organic and inorganic options
• Demonstrated ability to both work with a team and be self-motivated
• Growth mindset to think broadly and be a creative problem solver
• Willingness to work on multiple projects at once
• Top tier MBA is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
