The Strategic Consultant, Claims role will report to the Head of Claims Strategy and will be part of an instrumental team that supports the Claims project portfolio and critical Operational support functions for the Life, Annuity and Disability Claim services. This position will provide oversight of strategy and facilitation of the deployment?process and provide engagement to the team in execution of the role. You will have primary responsibilities for all digital readiness planning and leading our project portfolio planning and review program.

 

Qualifications for this role:

Our ideal Strategic Consultant, Claims will have an extensive project delivery background, specifically with new functionality and business capability improvement.? This role will have a primary emphasis on digital readiness for a multi-year Claims experience strategy.? This position requires strong coaching & mentoring capabilities to ensure a high level of team engagement and performance. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong examples of accountability, resiliency and self-awareness.

 

The role requires the ability to influence through establishing trust and building strong working relationships in the Claims organization, business and technology partners while delivering operational efficiencies. ?Successful candidate will own all aspects of readiness plan development and execution and will also play a primary role in measuring the adoption of deployed capabilities and continued ideating on improvements and enhancements.? This role will also help drive the strategic and tactical project management portfolio for the organization through defined Project management framework, portfolio

and case work.?

 

What the?Strategic Consultant, Claims role requires:?

  • Ability to equally focus on both the customer and associate experiences and what they need to be successful, providing overall daily oversight of people, planning, and project initiatives
  • Demonstrating strong organizational, planning and presentation skills, including meeting facilitation, and documentation while executing in the role
  • Engaging and providing mentoring, coaching and?appropriate developmental guidance to team members as needed in execution of deployment initiatives
  • Developing and owning the strategic claims readiness?plan, supporting digital deployment through completion
  • Creating cost benefit analyses, project plans, artifacts that support the project from planning through deployment.
  • ?Demonstrated strong Project Framework, portfolio management
  • Helping manage financial aspects associated with strategic planning?
  • Identifying and overseeing activities from planning through deployment; including readiness and adoption
  • Achieving organizational readiness in alignment with the Operations digital roadmap

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma /or GED
  • 5+ years business project delivery experience, including business readiness ???

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s Degree
  • Knowledge of Insurance Industry Operations / Products
  • Agile Certifications (Product Owner/Scrum Master)
  • ADKAR Change Management Certification
  • Continuous Improvement Experience/Change Agent
