Senior Project Manager, Creative
We are looking for…
A Senior Project Manager for our Creative Department who has responsibilities in four areas within creative project management for RGG: daily event assets for, marketing, PR, and internal branding needs. This role is responsible for driving process improvement within those areas in addition to supporting new initiatives across the organization. You will be a key part of our team and a critical partner with our Creative, Marketing, Merchandising and Technology partners. Daily, you will work with various teams across the organization to lead their own projects and ensure the smooth execution of projects across their team. This position reports into the VP, Merchandising and Creative Operations.
What you will accomplish...
- Team management: Manage a team of 3 associate project managers
- Project management: Oversee the daily project management of our event assets across Rue and Gilt. Directly manage marketing, PR, internal branding needs and new initiative projects while supporting your team on the projects they are leading.
- Collaborate: Work effectively with your key cross-functional partners while leading and driving your projects. Ensure a positive, can-do approach across the project lifecycle with internal and external stakeholders and business partners
- Analysis and optimization: work with creative leads to gather monthly metrics and standardize reporting. Present recommendations and clear actions based on the analysis built.
- Resource planning: gather business needs from your partners yearly and quarterly. Build creative capacity planning in partnership with your manager and review recommendations with the creative leads
- Lead Meetings: Own weekly creative status meeting and daily status with your team in addition to other project-based meeting needs
- Process Improvement: Use data and business priorities to drive process improvement and priorities. Ensure process improvement initiatives are well-communicated and documented for all teams. Once executed monitor the success of the change and manage additional improvement as required
- Problem Solve: troubleshoot challenges, identify solutions and direct next steps to keep work and projects moving
- Vendor Management: Identify vendor(s) to execute business needs and requests. Maintain relationships with our external vendors for print and ensure the right vendors are selected for each job.
You have…
- 5+ years of relevant project management experience at a brand or agency
- Excellent organizational and outstanding communication skills combined.
- Strong operational skills, attention to detail, process orientation and follow-through.
- Tenacity to drive ideas and priorities independently. Ability to multitask, meet and exceed deadlines.
- Flexibility and solutions oriented; accommodating last minute additions or changes to plans and schedules.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
