As part of the Product Delivery organization, the Senior Program Manager - Agile Practices will manage a team of Scrum masters and provide continual Agile coaching to the team and throughout the organization.  This person will partner with stakeholders at all levels to deliver industry leading HR solutions that are aligned with the strategic vision and goals of PrismHR. The Senior Program Manager - Agile Practices will provide leadership and guidance on multiple software projects, ensuring that project goals are reached, risks are identified and mitigated, schedules are maintained and adjusted, milestones are documented and standard operating procedures are achieved to meet time sensitive deadlines.  The Senior Program Manager - Agile Practices is an expert in Agile methodologies, both Scrum and Kanban.

SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and develop a team of Scrum Masters that will lead daily Scrum standups, backlog grooming, story pointing, retrospectives and other Scrum meetings as required

• Act as a Scrum master for any Product Delivery Team when needed

• Regularly maintains and updates sprint and release plans

• Works with project teams to create schedules, milestones, and overall plans

• Captures Agile metrics to measure project success at the end of each Sprint

• Provides project management, direction, and leadership to team members in order to accomplish defined project deliverables

• Demonstrated through past experience, the ability to regularly assess current business practices and make recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness (Process Improvement)

• Drives all phases of product development to ensure the timely delivery of quality products

• Provides risk assessments for project activities and develops proposed solutions

• Manages all project deliverables to successful completion, leverage project management best practices

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

• Management experience required

• 7+ years managing Scrum/Kanban teams as a Scrum Master

• 5+ years of project/program management experience within a SaaS product development organization

• Experience developing and tracking Agile/Program/Project metrics

• Prior experience in development, QA, or Product Management preferred

• Highly organized with strong problem solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to drive and manage project activities through completion with tight timelines

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills. Experience designing and delivering presentations and training to diverse audiences, including senior management, technical and non-technical personnel.

• Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple projects under deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred

• Scrum Master certification (CSM) or relevant experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

• Experience with Jira/Confluence preferred
