Our Project Planner provides implementation support for the Enterprise Project Office and other implementation teams. They handle project intake and resource allocation for project resources. They review contracts in the initiation phase and collaborate with Sales Support to ensure implementation teams have the information they need to begin project planning in a timely manner. The Project Planner works with our Customer Success Organization's management team to make sure the appropriate resource is assigned to the project, and workloads are balanced. They will also lead project engagements from initiation to completion.

 

This individual will start working remotely, but be required to work from our Burlington, MA facility once we do return to our office later in 2021.

 

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Capacity forecasting and scheduling: Manages scheduling tool with long-term vision and planning
  • Workload balance: Assigns project resources in a timely manner, and coordinates with team managers (as needed)
  • Manages project team user setup prior to team engagement
  • Receives and processes orders efficiently
  • Reviews and solicits information from internal teams to ensure completeness of project documentation (Fully Executed Order, STI, Contract Summary, PIF, Fee calculator, etc)
  • Manages initial project setup and data repository
  • Use designated tools to track projects and team resource assignments
  • Monitors license fulfillment on applicable orders
  • Reviews project requirements to determine resource needs
  • Lead customer facing project engagements using the Enterprise Project Office artifacts
  • Support New Product Initiatives, representing the Project Planning Team, and assist in the creation of project documentation

 

Qualifications:

 

Education: Associates Degree required/ Bachelor's Degree preferred.  (The level of knowledge typically obtained through a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and/or significant and successful work history is also acceptable)

 

Years of Experience: 2+ years of practical experience supporting projects

 

 

Required Experience: 

  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Collaborative and highly communicative
  • Must be autonomous at project level
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong follow through and drive to completion on tasks
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting to new processes & tools
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & MS-Office

  • Project Management background
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex decision making
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a multitude of tasks for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, dedicated work ethic

Our headquarters is in Burlington, 30 minutes from downtown Boston, right off 128 and across the street from Wayside Commons (hello, shopping!).
