Our Opportunity:

Chewy is hiring a Program Manager/Scrum Master for our Platform Engineering organization in Boston, MA. As a member of the Platform Business Office (PBO), you’ll be a key driver of the agile initiatives and execution of the Platform Engineering team, working to mature the agile processes and to drive team deliverables in support of Chewy’s applications on its Cloud Platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Scrum Master multiple Platform Engineering Teams using Scrum and Kanban best practices
• Run Daily Standups, facilitate Sprint Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo and Sprint Retrospective Sessions.
• Coach the team to higher levels of agile maturity.
• Partner with the Platform Business Office (PBO) on the prioritization of stories and Sprint Planning.
• Identify and track dependencies on the Team’s JIRA Board
• Drive the resolution of team impediments and escalate risks as needed
• Capture, compile and report on Sprint Metrics
• Report on Sprint Results
• Participate in Quarterly Planning Sessions
• Be an agile evangelist and engage in corporate Agile Best Practices forums

What You’ll Need:

• Agile delivery experience, preferably within a scaled agile environment
• Experience in managing complex product solutions across multiple teams
• Experiencing with JIRA and Confluence
• MUST HAVE : Experience with AWS Cloud technologies
• Familiarity with on prem and cloud infrastructure environments and tools
• Experience Scrum Mastering multiple teams simultaneously
• In depth knowledge and mastery of base methods such as Scrum and Kanban
• Story boarding and workshop facilitation skills
• Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of cross functional and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
• Willingness to travel (~10%)

Bonus (if applicable):

• Scrum certifications i.e. CSM or CSP.
• Experience with AWS Cloud technologies
• Experience with other public cloud technologies (Azure, GCP)
• Ecommerce experience
