Position Summary:
Growth opportunity for a program manager role utilizing Traditional and Agile methodologies to manage Enterprise R&D customer delivery programs with resources in diverse geographical locations. Working with the larger team, the role will require the coordination of multiple functional teams to continually deliver high quality solutions within challenging deadlines.
Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Assuming the PM role across multiple cross-functional teams providing the level of support they need to succeed.
• Planning, managing and reporting on software solution delivery projects being done by small to large Cross- functional development teams (including DevOps) spread across diverse geographies which develop some of the flagship products of Nuance.
• Lead and motivate people in close coordination with their line managers.
• Develop a technical understanding of the projects to be able to support the requirements management process.
• Manage risk and dependencies and resolve issues within and between various functional groups.
• Manage and report on the project dashboard including status, issues, and scope/schedule changes.
• Work collaboratively and coordinate with project team members to troubleshoot and resolve schedule or process issues on a daily basis.
• See the big picture, and take the initiative to find and fill gaps in our processes.
• Suggesting improvements and new areas to address to facilitate coordination and cooperation and to reduce error.
• Move team towards use of best practices and maximum automation.
• Ensure the on time, on budget, and quality delivery from end to end.
• Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field. -
Minimum years of work experience: 3+ years
Required skills:

• A minimum of 2 years of large-scope project/program management experience.
• Experience coordinating dynamic projects with geographically dispersed teams.
• Previous experience running software development projects with Scrum or other Agile development methodology.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance immediate and longer term tasks and requirements.
• Strong presentation skills, ability to cater message depending on audience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred skills:

• Knowledge and experience in the use of lean methodology.
• Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework and how it is applied.
• Knowledge of DevOps culture and principles.
• CSM or PSM certification.
• Implementation and use of Kanban.
• Use and management of Jira, Confluence, and Sharepoint.
