Orion (ERP) Engagement and Training Lead, 18 month Term role-Benefits Eligible

 

Position Summary:   
This position will lead the development and execution of the stakeholder engagement and training strategy, as well as related change management and communication activities for the Orion (ERP) Program. The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Program is part of a Federal Reserve System’s initiative to transition to integrated, cloud technology platforms for Financial Management (FMP), Human Capital Management (HCM), and Procurement Technology (PT) activities across the System. Orion will be a significant change to the way we do business in our System’s Financial Management, Human Resources, and Procurement functions, and will touch—at varied levels—every FRS employee.

 

Role and Responsibilities:
This individual will develop strategic engagement and training plans and drive cohesive engagements across the Reserve Banks with the goal of engaging and educating stakeholder audiences about the ERP systems, managing the change journey and preparing users for the system go-live. This role will work closely with the functional Communications and Change Management (CCM) leads for the Finance, HR, and Procurement areas, subject-matter experts, the District Transition Coordinators, and the Fed’s implementation partner to engage and educate audiences across all levels of the organization.
 
·Develops and leads execution of the Program’s stakeholder engagement strategy and training plans to support the successful transition of the System’s 20,000+ employees to the new ERP system
·Collaborates with the System Implementation Consultant and the Orion FRS team to manage the development of a learning approach for the Finance, HR and Procurement workstreams, including Instructor Led training, web/computer-based training and “on demand” Quick Reference Guides or job aid materials
·Collaborates with other functions (e.g., embedded FMP, HCM, and PT training leads) to obtain information on new processes and specifications for targeted learning audiences and validates accuracy of course materials
·Serves as the central coordination point and oversight for deploying cohesive stakeholder engagements, activate change networks across the Reserve Banks in collaboration with the District Transition Coordinators and manage/track stakeholder engagement opportunities.
·Monitors engagement and training activities, evaluates effectiveness, and assesses potential mitigation strategies, as required

 

Required Skills and Experience:
·Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with executive leaders, System governance and stakeholders, as well as technical and non-technical audiences
·Strong strategic planning, development and thinking, with independent decision-making
·Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated collaboration and consensus building skills
· Track record of driving for results in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables
·Some travel required
·Applicant may be located at any Reserve Bank location or may work remotely
·MBA preferred, but not required
 
Additional Details:

This position is funded through December 31, 2021 with the potential for extension.
