As a Learning & Development Program Manager, you will support the coordination, facilitation, and management of various US learning, training, development efforts to help grow SB individual and organizational confidence & competence.
In this role, you will be working alongside our Talent Learning & Development Partner, managing all L&D programs, with a primary focus on scheduling and facilitating our orientation program.

As a learning & development program manager, you will:
- Ensure minimum and maximum enrollments to avoid class cancellations
- Manage and facilitate New Hire Orientation
- Onboard/Update our (soon to come) LMS, upload videos, monitor metrics
- Work with internal and external vendors to prepare for workshops, this includes supply and food ordering, invoice monitoring, etc
- Collaborate with L&D Partner to map out learning plans, design, and develop training programs (outsourced or in-house)
- Partner with L&D Partner to build relationships and partner with hiring managers and People Business Partners to understand their business goals and training needs and support the definition of appropriate training schedules/strategies to help their team grow
- Manage the coordination of a variety of learning programs for all business functions such as Software Engineering, Product, Marketing, Commercial, Data and People
- Develop a strong understanding of who we are, what we do and what we value
- Promote our company values and, unique but amazing, culture to potential candidates, relevant communities and, as needed, third party vendors
- Keep up to date with current trends in learning & development, assessment and other learning technologies
- Potentially support instructional design, including short video production and editing
- Maintain any registration systems/databases, learning data, participant records, and manage participant registration
- Administer training evaluations
What we are looking for:
- At least 3 years of program management experience in a startup and/or mid-size company setting
- Interest in facilitating trainings for all organizations in a business
- Passionate about the chance to help shape a team, culture, and business from the beginning
- A data and technology driven thinker who uses data, technology, and market intelligence to develop recruiting strategies
- Strong people and communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of people at different levels with different styles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with STRONG attention to detail Passion and enthusiasm for making Simply Business the best place to work in Boston (this is what we can’t teach!)
